I was using a 2006 ASE as a pocket piece until I lost it someplace a few years ago. It's in my house, just don't know where. What pocket piece are you using? Pics? I'm thinking about getting a proof only coin and using that. Think it'd be fun to document it every week.

Pardon my ignorance but is a pocket piece, a good luck coin so to speak? Like something you carry around that has sentiment, or a conversation piece?
Just did a quick search and it would appear as mentioned above. I will add photos of what I carry.

Mine is a UK 1967 large penny. It is not the last year they were struck but I believe it was the last year they generally circulated.

I have considered the idea a lot. It's just that I don't see the point in wearing out a perfectly good coin. Especially Silver bullion like an AXE or something with good numismatic history and value like a Morgan.

Mine is a 1922 Peace dollar I got in change at the Taco Bell drive through about a year ago.

Mine is a 1993 ASE that is so beat up I found it in the abused silver rounds box. I too would never ruin a pristine coin by carrying it in my pocket. Rick

I carry around a 1887 V-Nickel, so worn you can barely read the date!

I carry my overstruck Peace dollar for our clubs 75th anniversary for the last 2 1/2 years. I misplaced it last fall and carried a 1986 Statue of Liberty commemorative dollar for a month but luckily I found my dollar and switched back. I might end carrying both at some point. I have a counter stamped 40% Kennedy half I found roll hunting I keep on my key chain along with a couple of Mississippi sales tax tokens.

I picked up a filthy 67 Canada goose silver dollar for scrap and polished it up to a mirror like shine. It had no value as a collector item and the silver content is the same. It is beautiful. I look for it if it's not in my pocket.

I usually carry a variety of pieces I have made, here is the latest batch. Two dragons from the Game of Thrones collection, two Early American Coppers club tokens, one in copper, one over a silver quarter, An Irish 50 p reingraved as a St Paddy token, A Syracusan stater in silver and my Air Force Challenge coin engraved into an Ike dollar.

My great grandfather had a half dollar from 1915. It would grade AG at best, but it has a home in my collection. They do wear badly.

NONE. Don't even carry any coinage at all.
