How Do I Post A Topic or Reply?

This tutorial will help new members with their first topics and posts.

General posting rules are here.

Asking a Question - Posting a New Topic

First: Scan the Forum Home Page to find the best forum to post your topic. You will see the forum is broken down into categories first, then individual forums. Picking the most relevant forum is important to get the best responses. If you have trouble figuring it out, post it in the Main Coin Forum.

Second: Once you get to the best forum for your topic, you will see any or all of the following at the top of the forum:

New Topic      New Poll      New Event.

Just pick one of these to start, depending on what you want to do. Be sure to make your topic title as specific as possible. Include everything you know such as the type of coin, year, and denomination. Note: Polls and events may not be available in all forums.

Replying to a Topic

There are two ways to reply to a topic. Quick reply and Full reply.

Quick Reply: The Quick Reply box is at the bottom of every page within a topic. There are no special features allowed such as text formatting, uploading images, etc. Type your reply and hit Submit Reply. If you discover you need the Full Reply at any time just hit Switch to Full Reply and everything you have typed will be copied to the Full Reply box provided you have javascript enabled.

Full Reply: At the top or bottom of the topic you want to reply to you will find:

Reply to Topic

Just use that link to go to the Full Reply box.
