I just acquired these two to add to my collection.

The first is a 5 peso from 1898 (A27) when the Philippines were trying to gain their independence after Spain's rule and before the take over of the US after the Spanish-American War. It is one of the rarest pieces of Philippines currency.

The second is my first acquisition of British West Africa (7b). The back is in Arabic script for 10 shillings.

i10er That British West African note is a scarce pickup! I am a bit of a sucker Currency Board notes, there is something very romantic about them.

Probably the Sultan of Oman, Qaboos bin Said al Said. Very excellent commemorative note - I bet all the holographic bits look much better in real life. Awesome.

And two more from Germany both in UNC and yes the 'staining' on them is deliberate.
