What do you think? Could it be SMS? I know its rather unlikely but it is very well struck

Of course it isn't a SMS half. There are plenty of internet articles to read about the history of the 10 1964 SMS that were made. Or just type "1964 SMS" into the CCF SEARCH box........

For those of you who might be interested, the Numismatist just ran an excellent article that pokes a lot of holes in the theory that 1964 "SMS" coins were ever struck at all.
