Wow - never saw a Zinc cent so reflective. seems to be a problem on the steps - I'l say it goes at 66+

In late 60's to early 70's a damaged die punch was being used - could this be the problem?

That's just the metal grains from the copper showing! But seriously - too much magnification, and even with that I don't see any dot over the L and no die chip on I
