It was found metal detecting near a church in Prince George county Virginia.
I would appreciate any help in finding out it's identity.

As always, BobL gets there first!

The quattrino struck between 1470s and 1506 appears to be the only type with the large P obverse and legend SANTVS ERCVLANUS (according to CNI).

Found in Virginia?

Thank you for the link BOB L, it seems to be a match, although the back of my 0coin is in such bad shape it's almost impossible to confirm the exact resemblance.
Thank you for being so prompt with your information.
