Last week of detecting coin finds resulted in some interesting recoveries. All of the sites were preconfederation so the coin finds reflected that pretty well.
Finds included....a New Brunswick 1864 one cent, a PEI one cent 1871, a USA
Indian Head cent 1863, a pair of Tiffin halfpenny tokens (LC46Ax) , a Ships Colonies token (PE10xx), a coronet(matron) USA largie (1816-1839) last digit in date could be a 1..so a '21 or '31 perhaps, then a pair of Hibernia halfpennies..the 1769 is in ok shape and finally a George lll halfpenny (1770-1775 issue).
Lots more crops coming out these days and lots more fields opening up for searching, just got to keep ahead of the duck and goose hunters they lease up some of best old spots in the fall and I can't wait til spring for some of them lol
Happy hunting everyone!
