Hello! My name is Nick.

I am 15, and I have been collecting for about four or five years now. I have a small collection, mainly full of older coins (pre-1970 is old to me so haha). I originate from the small town of West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA, and I still live here. I am entering into my sophomore year in high school, and I can't wait to expand my collection.

Feel free to ask any questions, I'm open to all (well, most)!

Thanks!
Rest in Peace

Do you have any other hobbies? Do you metal detect? Do you check the furniture for change in other people's houses? Do you look at the ground all the time?

Hello! I do have a few other hobbies. These include building model rockets, gaming (not excessive and extreme, but moderate), using telescopes, playing tennis, collecting vinyl records, and more.

I don't metal detect because I've heard many negative results from many people before (though I have thought about doing it from time to time). My opinion is always open to change, though.

I don't check for change in OTHER people's houses, as I feel that the coins found rightfully belong to them, but I do look at the ground all the time.

Heck , I used to whenever I was over any of my aunt's and uncle's house's . but at that time I was only 12 and finding silver dimes ,quarters ,and halves was a common occurrence.

Hey do you also collect/ stack gold and silver bullion or semi numismatic coins? Btw I also a fellow young collector. I find semi numismatic coins to be better investments because of my tight budget :(

Welcome! I had an interest in coins near that age, and then puberty struck. After that, "life happened" and it became a distraction I didn't have time for. Only recently have I begun to really look at what has become of coin collecting these days.
