Sorry if this is a dumb question, I am just starting my collection. ebay seems to quietly ban anything post-revolution, and Googling hasn't turned up any shops. I was looking for some kind of Cuban government bank/mint website to order directly from, but perhaps unsurprisingly nothing of the sort seems to exist.

I have been and many of my friends have also been there is actually 2 different pesos used in Cuba, one for native Cubans, and one for Gringos, the regular peso trades for something like 6 or 8 to 1 us$, where the Gringo one is 1 for 1 (these numbers are old, I was there in 2004)
I have bills and coinage

While there are signs of a compromise on the horizon, there is still a government embargo on anything Cuban (especially my beloved cigars), so you will find no U.S. companies dealing in Cuban coins or currency.

You can still find a lot of them on ebay. They just aren't labeled as Cuban coins. Star coins, coins from island south of U.S., etc.

Try buying from Europe. For example, do a google image search for "Cuba 10 Pesos 2003"

David Harrison puts out massive lists of foreign coins I would look for Cuban coins there. He is in Michigan, just google him.

I still think that everyone is still over looking the fact that while they are available to buy world wide, theyv are still illegal to sell, import or receive through the mail in the U.S. I remember a member here who bought such coins, they were held up at customs, then law enforcement got involved. I will try to dig up the thread. EDIT: I guess it had to do with ebay and paypal. But I think that there was another thread http://goccf.com/t/160851
