Quote: I could do PayPal if it is not against any of the rules to use as a family members account Read this selling rule before using PayPal:
"You must list payment options and they must be clear. You may not use any wording that suggests getting around PayPal (or any other payment method) fees, including asking for additional money to cover them. This is not up for discussion. Listings that break this rule will be removed. If we find out you are even suggesting it after the fact there will be repercussions. If you can't accept this rule, just sell somewhere else." |

Only one other member participated daily, and my estimate is that he identified at least $5,000,000 in counterfeits over the years that got removed.
I am unaware of anyway to directly contact eBay in the manner were able to using our contact. So it is buyer beware more than ever on eBay now.
If you know what you are doing, eBay is a great place to shop for coins. If you receive a counterfeit, eBay's buyer protection plan is great. |

I estimated the other day that Jimmy and I took down an average of $10,000 in just fake gold bars every day. We did this for at least 7 years.
7 x 365 x $10,000 = $25,550,000. This cost scammers this much in lost sales. This saved foolish buyers this much in buying counterfeit gold. This cost eBay more than $2,555,000 in fees.
Do not under any circumstances buy a gold bar on eBay unless it is from a well established commercial bullion dealer (and then it is probably cheaper to buy from their website). 90% or more of other gold bars listed on eBay are counterfeit. |

Jimmy, on 2/8 you sent me a message, and I replied Hi Karl, I noticed the counterfeit sites are closed, is this temporary or permanent?
Jimmy, I am not sure. Our contact has been talking about quitting for some time, and last night he told me that he did. Personally, I give it about 80% chance that it is permanent.
I will definitely let you know if anything changes.
I feel sorry for all the victims there will now be due to eBay's failure to remove these listings. If we can find them, so could they.
