Hi all, just want to say I enjoy seeing what everyone is finding. After a long break from coin roll hunting I decided to get back into it these were my finds for January.

Good finds @blue and welcome to CCF. We have talked about painted quarters like your shill before (e.g. here: http://goccf.com/t/257631 and http://goccf.com/t/443230 are two such threads), but here is a link to another article about them:

Pretty cool - have'nt seen a red painted quarter in awhile. Bars would paint quarters red then use them in the juke box during slow times during the day to keep the music playing so they could tell that they weren't profit from the customers.

Nice finds! Love to see others saving their 2009 pennies as well... the Philly coins are very tough pulls out here on the West coast.
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!
