When comparing the coin I have to another, it looks as if the letters are incomplete. What causes this?

You did not say which set of photos belongs to your coin, but one of the coins has Machine Doubling going on.

I should have said I'm not asking if it's doubled, but rather what causes the letters to not fully form? The 1st pic is of my coin.
