I inherited a ton of older foreign coins and I've been trying to go through them to identify/catalog. I am familiar with U.S. coins/currency, but have limited world coin knowledge. Mostly trying to look up on the internet with limited results.

This one I have been trying to identify forever. The envelope is labeled "1665 AR Philip, Count of Taxis H.R.E" whoever wrote it originally wrote "France Philip IV of Burgundy" but crossed it out.

As far as I can make out one side is a bust with lettering PHILIPPV...D.CTASS.COMES
and the other side is a shield with lettering 1665.IN.TE.DOMINE.BRAVI ?

It is about 20 mm and 2.56 grams

The labels on a lot of the coins have been incorrect, possibly due to lack of information at the time (coins were purchased probably 1960s/1970s). By coincidence I was able to email some pictures to an expert and he concluded it was likely French- possibly a very obscure coin or "jetton" token.

If anyone could shed some light on this coin or possibly where to find out more, I would greatly appreciate it!

It is from the Italian County of Tassarolo, but it is an imitation of a French coin, a so called luigino ("little Louis"). The original French coin was a 1/12 écu, issued for king Louis XIV, and it became so popular in trade with the Levant that it was copied by a number of French vassal states and numerous Italian states. The likeness with the French original varied, this one is very close, except for the inscription. It is issued for count Filippo Spinola and is not too common; it may be worth 100-200 $.

Wow after months of searching (believe me googling every variation of 1665 Philipp V coin there is nothing), I just messed around with the lettering to come up with IN TE DOMINE SPERAVI which leads me to an Italian coin called a Luigino !

Still not completely sure especially for a silver coin the color looks off

You're welcome, TacoSalad. I have looked into these interesting coins - there are so many variants of these luigini, it is a collection area of its own - and I recognized it as such. It was just a matter of checking which particular imitation this was.

Like many other imitations, it is probably of a more base silver alloy than the original. That may explain the color.

I'm glad that @era was able to help you @taco. For completeness, I would like to slightly modify your reading of the obv inscription to: PHILIPPVS D G TASS COMES. Using that phrase as the keywords on acsearch.com yields several examples of your coin:
