I have a small collection of porcelain tokens and medals I've been working on off and on for several years. Here are a couple of recent pick up. All of the coins I have were made my Meissen Porcelain, denoted by the crosses swords symbol on the the first coin. The second coin with Fredrich Barbarossa mas not made by Meissen, which is something I wanted for my collection.

If anyone else collects these strange things I'd enjoy seeing them.

Very nice, chrsmat. They are in amazing shape - just dropping in on the pavement would have damaged them. These must have been low value at the time, being made of porcelain.

Gambling tokens made of glazed porcelain were sometimes used for minor coinage in Burma and Thailand.

I'm pretty sure that @notgeldman only collects the paper versions of notgeld, but their thread linked below is an amazing, 61-page library of these pieces. Consider dm'ing them for help with your research.

Thanks Hondo. I think many of these went straight to the collector market at the time, so most seem to be in very good condition.

Yeah, I've seen gambling tokes, one of them is definitely on my "to get"list.

Thanks for the link spence!

Here are a few of the other pieces I have that were already saved in my image uploads I must have posted somewhere here before.

I had several or so of these in white with gold trim.
So I know they exist.
A collector might look to find those.

chrsmat and keith, those are outstanding notgeld coins! You're tempting me to expand my collection, and I really don't need that!
This came in a lot of tokens I bought, and the 2X2 is labeled only Siam (porcelain). These are not difficult to find, and they are not expensive.

I could provide collectors of German Coin Notgeld a checklist if I knew how to do it. It's 4000 word 13 full text pages so I don't think it would fly here.
It's a Word document having no hyperlink. Maybe private mail somehow? Or some way to post it here?
I can maybe post a short sample:

#61603; Aalen, Wurttemberg, city, 1917-1920 (R3)

Hey that's a cool set Kieth12, looks like their still in their original collectors box also. I have several that are part of that set, I posted a couple below.

That is definitely a neat token Hondo, you may just have bumped one of them up to next purchase for me!

Hey albert, I would be interested in the word document. You can email me though my profile page here if you like, thank you very much!

I do have a couple of gilt tokens, two are the same as in spences set.

Great topic - porcelain notgeld are one of my favorite items to collect. Here are a few I already have scans of - I have many more!

The first one I use for my icon - it is listed in the Scheuch catalog as 1034e from Branmburg, 800 year anniversary of the reign of Kaiser Heinrichs II.

The next one is from the manufacturer KPM - see the makers mark on the edge, no crossed swords.

The last one is Scheuch 1959q - From Meissen - Honorary Prize of the Alpine Club and from the catalog they only were made as gipsform or handform.
