huh! Good point - Who know WHEN that planchet was created.. Unless it was inserted into a set with other coins and the entire set was sent in together.. There has to be a back story for this one. it is dated 2019 so not part of the 4 coin Lincoln set.. Here is what I found: https://catalog.usmint.gov/explore-...9-19XGB.html

Simply another example of the ridiculous ways TPG encapsulation has altered the hobby landscape - for the worse IMO

It came as part of the Explore and Discover set. Since they certified it, it had to have been received in a sealed box by PCGS within 30 days of the set's release. It's a complete waste of money in my opinion, but someone will probably buy it.

Because "First Strike" is a piece of marketing blather, not meaningful...
For that particular company, "First Strike" means the coin was delivered into their grubby little hands within 30 days of the coin being initially issued. How that translates to strike order, I've never figured out.
For many special finishes, all of the coins are struck over a few days and they are then delivered to collectors from that population. Again strike order is meaningless to the label.
Finally, suppose the coins really are struck over many days... would you rather the first coin struck from fresh new dies on day 45? Or the last coin struck from old dies on day 44?
Yep, it's just marketing blather, but you pay extra for the label.

The ebay add was misleading to say the least. Called it an error. As a labeled piece of a set, it could not be an "error".
