Why no Big Dunny on an NCLT coin? - the real one can be found outside the town of Dunedoo, in northern NSW.

There are a lot of "big things" whose owners might be upset at not getting on the list. The Big Merino in Goulburn comes to mind.
The Super Pit in Kalgoorlie also comes to mind, though that's more functional than tourist-oriented. I would say that not too many tourists would want to travel into the desert just to see a giant hole in the ground, but look at the Grand Canyon...

Super Pit about 5 kilometers southwest of Kalgoorlie is in fact somewhat of a tourist attraction. I have been in the observation deck on the edge of the hole, at mid night. Mining operation continues 24/7. The hole itself is certainly big enough to attract the curiosity of tourists.
I agree that appears to be a reminder of the Grand Canyon.
Sooner or later, there will be a depiction of the Super Pit on a gold coin.

Quote: No Big Shrimp for the Barbie? We don't really do shrimps on the barbie. That was just a marketing gimmick.

We actually call them "prawns", rather than "shrimp". And there is a Big Prawn, in Ballina.

We had the Lease for the Big Prawn for 7 years,24 hr Ampol Roadhouse. The site was purchased by Bunnings Hardware but they kept the Prawn, moved it to one side of the lot and refurbished it so its still there. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-01...kay/13088940https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Big_Bogan

Looks as though the sets will be available for $29, plus $5 delivery, by Australia Post from next Monday, 04 September. If the sets can't be purchased over the counter you would be better off adding a single coin for $3 to your cart for a total of $32 with free delivery! It doesn't appear that they will be also given out in change as they usually do with these promotions. https://auspost.com.au/shop/product...K20230811003

Strange how all those 'BIG THINGS' fit in that tiny litlle 'tube' . Must be like the 'TARDIS' inside.
