Hello, new to the forum, over 40 years collecting. I have caught the biggest scammer on ebay, and in my opinion, ebay has helped him continue to rip off the coin collecting community, and I would not be surprised if members on here have bought coins from this unscrupulous seller who is a complete fraud. He has 100% positive feedback, which is a lie as I left scathing negative feedback for him! I have brought this seller to ebays attention over 2 years ago, and he's going strong, using stock photos of good coins on the ends of a roll, just to garner higher bids, from unsuspecting (100% positive feedback and the statement "put away before many of us were born"-if I was born last night he may be right!) and unknowing bidders, who are actually getting a made to order roll. I've actually ordered the same roll twice and was winning the same roll 4 different times. And of course, never got the one bid on. This criminal sold a roll of pennies for $1250.55!!!! And later $ 450. ebay does nothing.I've got 5 pages of positive feedback from bidders who bought the same roll! 125 times he used the stock photo to sell a roll with the exact same 1910-S coin on the end. I'm not an expert, by any means but to get a bank rolled roll of wheat cents with even the same date on end of the coins but to have 125 with both ends the same!!!!? Are you kidding me? THe mathematical equation to figure that out is beyond my intelligence and scope of understanding, I guess. And ebay does nothing because , let's face it community, they get a cut bottom line. One of their "supervisors" messed up and told me that during disputes and squabbling, they see who gives them more money,i.e, does the customer spend more than the seller sells and with this seller (who is one of ebays top advertisers whose coins come up first, 100% fraud) who I will out his name as I am not the crook.

Intentionally done , to garner high bids, using photos of item he no longer has and stating they were old to intentionally deceive unsuspecting bidders. I mean, if you just bought the roll I mentioned for $1250.55!!? You wouldn't necessarily be looking for another would you? I would. I did, I caught him, hands down and this is not my opinion this is fact and anyone who can see a picture side by side will agree. I called him out on his fraud, and this guy hides behind ebay stating he should contact my local authorities for harassment! That's a real good idea, I will post my information any day of the week. I am not afraid of being sued , because I'm right and he's a scamming thief. If allowed, I will post his user name In a heartbeat, I want to know, but I'm new and don't know where, besides the FTC and IC3 to file complaint with, but this seller has been doing this for years now! Unabated. I'm starting to think ebay is protecting this guy, with 100% positive feedback, a total impossibility, as I have bought and my negative feedback has been removed. He has over 7 thousand stars, every buyer duped by this slick talking, snake in the grass using stock photos in an auction. I'm sorry, I am bidding on what I see, not placing an order for the Pennie's on the end so they could dump their junk on me.

Okay, okay, you're upset, we get it. Just give us a link, it's not a crime.

@nulte, first welcome to CCF. Second, while clearly you are quite upset, it is unacceptable on this site to use all upper case in your posts. In a minute, I will go through your two posts and edit them to use lower case, but I don't want you to do this any more. Got it? Thx.

We take that your upset but without information, your not going to get many replies. Give us the sellers ebay name so that we may look further into this.

Yes, a link would be most interesting. This is the marketplace, warts and all.

to the Community! ebay has a knack for protecting Sellers that "feed the beast". Just share a link, or an item number, to one of his questionable listings. Always remember it's "buyer beware" when buying anything online.

Sales puffery is legal. So selling for outlandish prices with puffed-up descriptions is not criminal. Despicable, sure. Criminal, no.

Hello all, no disrespect intended, just pure disgust and anger at this guy,who is a total THIEF. His username or whatever you call it is dfwcoininvestments, and he is pure garbage in my book, and when you look, if you look for yourselves, disregard the POSITIVE feedback he has, and look at the items. I typed in 1910-S and there were pages of good feedback. Looks good, until you look at the items themselves, and EVERY ONE is the same roll. Again I'll put his name out dfwcoininvestments, I'm not the crook and he knows it. ebay even sanctioned me because I filed negative feedback that he had removed, sick and pure fraud.

And I'm SURE some on here have bought from him. I was winning the same coin roll twice at the same time, and ended up winning it a total of 2 DIFFERENTtimes but never got it once.I called him on his stock photos , he complained to ebay that I was harassing him, and that ebay said he should contact the authorities in my area. Yeah, that's what he's going to do, I'm still waiting, lol!

If you're so upset, why the heck won't you give us a link? Otherwise, your griping does absolutely no good.

Thx for posting the user I'd. It helps. Obviously, he is skating the fine line of ethics and moral values with his listings. Touting the word "Investments" is his user name is shady, too. Being around ebay for over 20 years as I have nothing surprises me. People have been falling for these end of roll scams since the early days and will still be falling for it when we are all dead and gone. It is best just to skip over them and move on. When buying the proverbial "pig in a poke" you are gonna end up with a pig no matter what. Avoid getting worked up over this. Complaining to ebay falls on deaf ears. Blood pressure problems, a stroke and crappy coins are not worth it!
