Hello everyone,

Still new to Morgans.... I bought up a lot today for a fair price. They weight out, dimensions are good, and all passed the piNGCoin test... Most were 1921.

This 1903 has what looks to be a production flaw around 12 o'clock near the B ...

Any thoughts? Normal?

Thanks again everyone....

A sharp end-on pic of the rim--where the possible issue is--would certainly help. Thanks.

Maybe mounted previously? What does the edge look like in that region?

I agree that an edge shot may help. I have one that was used as a necklace and it has a similar look.

I don't know Morgans but that kind of folded over Rim Fin is common on other denominations from that era. Dimes for example.
