I only learned about this variety about four days ago when someone posted pictures of their own cherrypick on a topic tropicalbats had posted two years ago of a cherrypick of this variety. Went on ebay, and the first result happened to be an example in great condition. Had to pay a little more than I was hoping I would to get it, since at least one other bidder clearly knew what it was, but I still feel like I got a good price. Also, apologies in advance if anyone on here was bidding against me on this! I know how annoying it is to be eying a great variety you've found and then get outbid at the end. Lost out on the last few candidates I had found and wanted to buy since I started looking to cherrypick on ebay. Edited by SamCoin 02/08/2021 9:27 pm

WOW! Upon reading the title I was certainly not expecting mint state. Killer pick! I look forward to what it looks like when it comes in. Congrats on your first ebay pick, quite a find for your first too. -CH27

Thanks CH27! Yeah, I was blown away when I found it in mint state. The obverse seems like it may have some bag marks, but I'm hoping it will still grade out as a decent MS coin. Paid $250 for it after tax and shipping.

$250 isn't bad at all. I hope it comes in stunning! Only one I've picked off ebay is Fine at best. Mint state is a whole other ball park! Again, congrats! -CH27

Due to the Weinman design, walkers with blast white full luster are always eye candy. Coin pictured a real beauty, and an interesting variety to boot. Would shine out like a lighthouse in most collections.
