I would like to do a Contest-Giveaway as a Thank You to the CCF Community. I would like to do it as a guess of Silver and Gold, Close Bid Price (Kitco), for close on Friday January 1, 2021.
That is assuming Gold and Silver Trade will happen on New Years Day? Any suggestions on this will be appreciated.
What I would like to do is : take the guess of Gold and Silver and combine those and award the winner to whom comes the closest.
No rules on guessing over/under, just whomever comes the closest with the two combined guesses.
The only rules I would like is.
1. All guesses must be in by Monday 12/28/2020
2. In case of a tie, whomever post fist, wins.
3. No editing a post after it is made.
Because of all of the Mail issues we are having right now, I'm just going to offer a Cash Prize instead of mailing a prize.
I can only send PayPal.
1st Place - $50
If that Person happens to guess exactly correct on both Gold and Silver Close Price.
They will win $150, instead of $50

So let me get the straight on guessing...If I think gold will close at $3,000.80/oz and silver $500.01/oz...my guess should then be entered as 3,500.81/oz...is that correct and each CCF member has only one guess during the extended time of the contest?

In my opinion you should just have one prize for correct or closest Gold and one prize for correct or closest Silver . No combining .  |

T-BOP, I like your idea and that would make it easier, so we will go with that.
Everyone gets one guess at Silver and one guess at Gold - Bid Price (Kitco), for Close on Friday January 1, 2021.
There is no over/under rule, the closest guesses will win.
I will award each Person who gets closest on Silver and Gold - $25 each, if anyone guesses exactly correct, you win - $75 instead of $25
The only rules I would like is.
1. All guesses must be in by Monday 12/28/2020

Just to be clear, to win the $75 "exactly correct" you will need to guess it down to the Cent. Example - if Silver close price is $33.22, your guess will have to be $33.22. to win the $75. Same example with Gold price.
I think this format should be fine!
Guessing can start after seeing this post.

Greasy Fingers - The original plan was each person guess, gold/silver price, then whomever came closest on guessing both would win. Like silver $28.88 gold $2000.55, not adding them together. But if you think about it, adding them together as your were asking is about the same, haha.
