On a business trip to Singapore a number of years ago, I asked a local friend/co-worker if he could take me to a coin shop.
He did, and it was like no other coin shop I had ever been in. It was tiny, about the size of large walk-in closet, but it had a large inventory of raw coins in cardboard 2x2s lining each wall.
I had wanted to get one of the 1964 Japan Olympic commemorative coins so when I spotted what appeared to be a nice one "on the wall" I asked to see it. After finding it to be an attractive example with original BU surfaces, I negotiated a bit on the price and made the purchase. I enjoy having it in my collection!
I'll try to dig it out and post an image.
