PMG - Can you spot which note is a genuine error and which one is counterfeit?

Read More: Counterfeit Detection Series

This month we are doing something a little different. Here are two Canadian notes that were recently submitted to PMG. Each note has the same error - Missing Serial Number(s). One is a genuine error while the other has been tampered with. Can you tell which one is which?

The queen's face seems a bit off on the $2 (& so does the colour/with virtually no microtext) so it doesn't surprise me it doesn't pass the UV light test. The font on the SN & proportions of all elements seem quite accurate though (something that's usually messed up).

The $2.00 note. The dark area where the denomination is written is it correct.

I have a bill that looks like the $2, with only one serial number on it. Now I know how to authenticate it, thanks for the information CCFPress.
