No matter what the type of coin or note, if ya just bought it recently....then list it ! This can be a "mixed list".

Post a pic if you'd like us to see em' too!

Just new purchases though, and we'll see some neat coins Moderns and Classic flowing through here of hoard sizes being increased!

If you just buy coins once in a great while.....then ya can live vicariously through this thread I'm sure ! ....

I found myself around coins and notes this weekend with the girlfriend !
I have not yet sorted out whether or not I got a "deal"......but here are my purchases.....(pics of them in the next day or so)

15 or so Silver Certificates ....in various conditions and dates and denominations
A Three Cent Piece... (yeah, I'll get a pic of this up soon!)
A Proof Suzie B.... (girlfriend likes her)(this coin was in near perfect condition)
A Suzie B. set.... P, D, S (the "S" isn't original proof condition or MS70 I should say, nor are the others even close to uncirculated......he threw this "set" in for nothing!.....as part of a "bulk purchase")

There's mine from this last weekend !.....not much, but it feeds the habit !....

I picked up a 23S (G-VG) and 27S (F-VF) Walker halves yesterday, filling two more holes in the album.

My counterfeit 1909S VDB. I knew it was a fake when I bought it and so did the dealer. Probably paid too much for it, but I thought it was really cool. It's a dang good counterfeit IMO:

Picked this up from a blurry ebay picture for well under its market value.

Unfortunately it might have to go soon to fund a very large purchase...
Rest in Peace

More great photos!

Love the Roosevelt proofs!

Funny story about my Rossevelt and Jefferson Dansco albums. They both were the "non-proof" versions. When I decided to break apart my proof sets, I wanted to put the nickel and dime proofs in the albums (all of my other Dansco albums included the "proof only" issues).

I went to buy two new albums, but my dealer said "If you have room, why not add pages and put all the proofs on one page?" Well, since he had the blank nickel and dime pages in stock, that is what I did. It actually looks pretty cool having all the proofs on one page!

I'm getting really excited about completing my roosie set. All I have left to find are the 48P, 49P, 50P, 51S, 82PD, 83P, 94-97 silver proofs, 95-97 clad proofs, and the 51 and 53 proofs...

After typing it all out, I realize that I've got quite a ways to go... Once it's finished I'll be sure to post some completed pics

I've already managed to get great examples of the keys. Sometimes I think it's easier to find keys in great shape than it is to find semi-keys in great shape... I never would have imagined that it would be harder to find an 82P than an 82P no mintmark.

I went to my first coin show last weekend and met a really interesting collector of large cents, and Half Cents. I ended up buying one of his coins it is an 1819 small date liberty head large cent graded AU-55. By far my favorite coin in my 7070 book so far. I also got a PCGS MS-62FH 1917 Standing Liberty quarter type 1, as well as a real nice 1892 col. expo half dollar. My only issue now is do I crack out the graded coins and put them in the book or not? I can't decide but I want to really bad!
