1994-P Jefferson Nickel: Weak Or Grease Strike?

Hwy14 Valued Member United States 300 Posts	Posted 09/23/2018 4:01 pm I've yet to see a Grease Strike all the way around and on both sides so I'm thinking Weak Strike. What do you guys see? Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 09/24/2018 4:22 pm But the question was: Weak or Grease Strike? How can we tell? Not eh missing devices and the devices next to them? The devices that are next to them are wider, because the inner part of the die was filled with grease. This prevents the upper portions of the devices to be formed. So the thinner/tapered devices are prevented because of the grease. So if a device is missing, look at the ones next to that area. That will give you a clue as to what happened.
