Our Kennedy half Registry Sets are now all at Heritage, and many of them are described and photographed. They include our Kennedy half Circulation Strikes Complete Variety Set, the only set to ever achieve 100% completion at PCGS and the number 1 set in 2015 and 2016. Not all of the photographs are present but many are, and the rest will be appearing as the sale grows closer (live bidding starts later this month; this is the Long Beach sale which concludes in September).

There are many Cherrypickers' varieties in high grade, plus a 1964 SMS MS67 PCGS; a 1964-D MS65 PL NGC, with a letter from Ken Bressett pedigreeing it to the first day of issue; a 1964 PR69 Deep Cameo; and a 1971-S half PR69 Deep Cameo, along with many other conditionally elusive coins in the set.

Thank you for looking.

Kind regards,

Thank you for the kind words dd27!

Update: These will all be pedigreed as From The Bristol Collection when they appear at Heritage (Long Beach or whatever other auction they appear in; the bigger coins will be Long Beach, and bidding for that starts in a little more than a week.

Kind regards,

George

Here are some alternative photos of a lot of my Kennedy halves that I posted years ago at PCGS. These gorgeous (and color-accurate) photos are by Todd Pollock of BluCC Photography.

Hope you enjoy these. I wish I had gotten the second half of the set photographed, but at least all of the early dates (save for the 1964 SMS, which I was too afraid to send by mail) have nice photos. I and others will be able to look at these long after the coins have found new owners.

The 1964 SMS is up to $15,000 but there are a lot of real bargains still to be had in this auction!

The 1964 SMS closed at $40,000 plus 17.5 Buyer's Premium = $47,000. But there are still a lot of high-grade business strikes (MS67/MS68), Cherrypicker's varieties, and PR70DCAM coins that show relatively inexpensive bid prices. The non-floor session (live bidding) on those closes tomorrow so get your bids in now!

Best Regards,

George
