@:Spence:) The most striking feature of the coins of Ali Adl Shah-1 and his successor Ibrahim Adl shah is the "Tughra" style of inscription. The strokes of the letters are elongated and other letters are arranged in layers embedded in them. This is one of the most beautiful calligraphic styles I have seen. There are legible legends inside the inscription. I have tried to provide an example annotating the reverse of the coin I had posted, with ID no. Bij.Sul# 003.The details on the obverse are rather very difficult to decipher. But this reverse is enough to come to the conclusion that this is of Bijapur. Later Sultans of Bijapur used to inscribe their names on the coin just as usual legends and can be read and identified.Hope this helps.

These coins are best attributed using the scalloped design with dots inside.

The leaflike image is very characteristic of Bijapur.

The lozenge with dots inside on both sides with legends that are very difficult to understand, probably a crude representation of a couplet is characteristic of this variety believed to have been issued for a long time even after the end of Adil Shahi rule.
