If one were to find a raw 95-W, would it be a "slam dunk" to get it slabbed / graded for resale or heir's sake ?

Your question is a Real concern for Most who collect, IMO, The decision is clearly up to the collecting individual , If I were asked that question it would be a simple answer, Collecting All Original Packaging, I would keep ALL Original.

Once a collector takes the step of Slabbing the 1995-W, One must assume certain things, One, The 1995-W will Not be in its Original packed package. ( some could care less ). Its Gone, No More All Original. It Could be returned into the wild with some finess, Just not my style.

If your concerned with the Turn over for the Most obtainable $$$, I have seen Value handed to Some who have Certain coinage " Graded " Have and Are commanding Very High values.
One must consider All aspects of Your goals, On One hand having the Coins graded Brings a certain calmness, a Certain assurance, I can see Why people go the graded route for Monetary reasons.

One can Also keep the 1995-W in it's All Original package for the Collector that Next is the Ward for Your Treasures...

Maybe some day the Younger Collectors Will want to see All Original sets, Once gone, They are Gone.......

It is a Very strong reason to go the grading path, I am Not one of them, I know how I want to proceed, I see differing paths for Collectors, Choose what You want, and Go for It......

If I were to obtain a single raw 1995W, not the whole set, just a 1995W in let's say what looks like the original capsule or aftermarket capsule, I'd be really suspicious of it, and works get it graded, because they'll of course tell you it's counterfeit.

In regards to having the ASE graded and then the set is no longer original, your can get the capsule returned and if decide you miss the original set, your can always crack it out and put it back in the mint capsule.
