Exceptional Additions to an Already All Star cast,

An Ohh fell over myself as I saw the 1915 Panama-Pacific Silver Half,...

The exquisite, Clean, Simple designs are Classic of the times.. ( I really appreciate that ).

Next up, Your Vermont example, I personally enjoy the Stealthy Cat, Mountain Lion stance, Very Well designed Commemorative Half Too.....

Lastly I see the Roanoke Half, I have also Always had a fondness for This Commemorative, Celebrating the first settlers colonization of North Carolina. The reverse of Eleanor, Holding Virginia, First born settler in the new world.
Commems, You stated: Quote: " My "local" connection to the coin's subject matter is part of my attraction to it, but 've always liked its design ". Any chance I can Ask about that ? Your local connection, Please...

Commems, Your A Commemorative Extraodinaire,

Always bringing Exceptional examples for Our Enjoyment, Thanks Again, ...

Hokiefan,

To start off, WOW......

Who would not appreciate that Crisp struck Oregon Trail

Love the California jubilee's natural luster in that grade...

Then We get to a Very Strong struck Connecticut, Beautiful example, Always enjoyed the Outstanding reverse design, with the full Charter Oak Tree, ........

Now, The American Independence, You could Not of picked a Stronger example of Our Historic pasts, IMO.....

The Texas Half is another Choice example of our heritage, Exceptionally detailed design.

The " crisp struck " Gettysburg Half is and Has Always been One of My absolute favorites Too, As historic and finely designed goes, This half is Outstanding, ....

The Grant Half, Another absolute favorite, The reverse tree work designs are Very In-depth and life like, ...

Never much of a fan of the last Commemorative, Although You Obviously have a Winner, Awesome Rainbows of Colors, WOW.

Thanks for sharing what I believe are Exceptional Historic Examples of Our Well Deserving Commemoratives

As noted, You have set the stage for an Outstanding Artworks show from days gone bye. Your Posts have been Exciting to see, I Appreciate it, I am still drooling, Well Done....

Personally I think The 93, 94, 95 Morgan's are a tad High priced, $3,700.00 for a " VF-Details.. ( til I looked up 2025'sValues )

Realizing I have bee4n away for Too long, ....

I too think this 1893-S Morgan dollar is Sweet, for a New patina look, Nice Coin. I also believe the NET-VF-35 should grade better, I saw EF on the slab label, Think it deserves the EF, Just my opinion.

I Too Enjoy the Morgan dollar series, Early in the 1980's I thought I would put together a Whitman, 2-Album set.

Then I also thought it was Reasonably Obtainable, and Rewarding in mint state. I Now see the Morgan series costing a " tad " more then prices of days gone bye. I am Loving seeing More and More People collecting the Most collected silver dollar in History.... Today is a More challenging Time,

I am fresh back from the Melville, Long Island Coin, Stamps, Cards & Collectibles Show, Thanks to Another member, Helder, I found out the show did not break apart, They just moved closer to the 495 ( Long Island Expressway ). We all have our go to Coin shops, Coin shows, I have been attending this show for decades before seeing some ole timers , Seeing the place like I left it, Bustling with Seasoned vendors, Selling the Morgan dollar series like days gone bye, Gladly showing people W/E they wanted, Raw, Graded.

It felt nice being back at the show, The Primary Currency vendor had Most of his Inventory out, I Could barely hold back my enthusiasm, Any Bills you Might of thought about, They were Right in front of me, WOW. Mikev50, Thank you for sharing, Wishing you all the best, MD

I recall the FUJI Mint had minted the 2022 " Morgan dollars " ( their versions ) because the U S Mints did not mint them.

The Sets were IMO, not all that, essentially a reproduced version of Our Morgan dollars. The prices for these were very high, Maybe they came down .

Have you checked E-Bay....

The HSN network and Mike ? were selling these exclusively, Maybe not anymore, Sorry I could not help more, Best wishes, MD

Commems, You stated,

Quote: " While it's likely they are not the type of collector who searches through pocket change for coins to fill folders, they do all understand what it is to be a collector. "

Do We Know Any of the The Citizens Commemorative Coin Advisory Committee Members?

I am happy to be told, " they do all understand what it is to be a collector. "

How does one get to serve on the committee, Nominated, Any one know?

Also, I believe they, Like Myself, Probably started searching through pocket change To fill folders Too.

1995 is Another great topic too,

To be clear, Not the Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee, CCAC

Can anyone state when the Citizens Commemorative Coin Advisory Committee, CCCAC was founded/started?

I personally Believe the decisions made by this group, ( CCAC ) do Not align Many Times with the choices/designs they recommend.

IMO, They have exhibited Not being in-touch with the Real Coin collector's out Here, Just My Opinion,....

The series is Quite remarkable,

Thanks for sharing the Platinum Flora designs, Very Nice!!!

As noted prior, Very Nice designs

This series uses the lifecycle of the oak tree from seedling to a mighty oak as a metaphor for our country's growth as a Nation that values freedom. "

What kind of Oak are they contributing this to, With hundreds of Oaks to choose from, I would hope the tree Would resemble a Post -oak or a more traditional Just as Strong White oak.

The "tassel like " hanging portion to the 2022 design is another strong design, The male flowers or catkins are Life-like, Well Done...

The Uncirculated Morgan silver dollars they choose for the restrike in 2021 are Highly collectible, Carson City examples are especially collectible.

Why the U S Mint decided not to mint Proofs, in 2021, IDK.

I am thrilled they Honored The Morgan silver dollars Uncirculated version with the 100TH Anniversary strikes, Front at the center of it All.

We also know the U S Mint decided after stating they Would produce a 2022 Re-struck Morgan, They did Not produce any Morgan dollars in 2022.

However the FUJI mint saw this and Produced their version of a Morgan silver dollar. ( not for me ).

I believe there were No Morgan Proofs Re-struck till 2023. I could be wrong.

Imo, When the 2023 Proof Morgans came out, People were in Awe of Seeing Proofs, Holding one is Special and hope Others enjoy the Series , probably the most collected silver dollar to Date, .....
