Hello,

I am new to the World Coin Forum. I have a bunch of coins from around the world that my husband had in a container. I know literally nothing about them, but am slowly trying to research some of them.

This coin appears to be in pretty bad shape. A lot of detail is smooshed. It weighs 9.22 grams.

Any insight on it's condition and whether it is worth hanging on to, would be appreciated.

Thanks so much.

@sam, yes that is a fun coin. Here is the numista link, with info about minting and an estimate of value (how accurate I have no idea). Regardless of whether you are going to save or sell, I'd consider putting it in a 2x2 for safe-keeping.

Not expensive, but an interesting historic coin, I'd keep it.
