I've long suspected that my MS Illinois (Lincoln) was struck on fresh and well adjusted dies. The strike is just absolutely hammered on both sides.
Given that there were not that many coins struck per die, my assumption of new(er) dies might not be correct.
Anyways - here is the coin.
