#4 in the Canadian W Mint Mark Tribute series. The previous being the polar bear toonie, the loonie, and the coat of arms 50 cent piece. Now getting down to the Caribou who looks like he is caught in the head lights.
Silver 1 oz "Tailored specimen" finish.

Next up is my favorite, the Bluenose ten cent piece. Can't wait for that one!

Well my hoard of 150 coins arrived today. I'm going to be busy imaging each one and identifying them and of course posting them. Some are just junk coin (very little of them are anyway) some are of countries I did not have yet and one for my brother world coin collection (a 1969 dated coin) And that was just a quick cursory look at them.
I think that posting only 5 or 6 a day should be fine - don't want to crash the forums or bore you to death.. (of which I think I am already - but I don't care 'bout that, I'm having fun)

Some of them must have been a folder r something because there is tape residue on them (should I put them up in the error forums? ok - NOT! but an acetone soak is in their future.

Nice adds, mestephil, Moniker and GLB49! Looks like you'll have some fun ahead of you, Dearborn, going through that lot of coins you received! It's been years since I bought a bulk lot, but I remember the excitement of going through them.

A few upgrades for my complete classic commemorative set arrived today. These all came from the Auriah Rayne collection just auctioned on Heritage.

First is a 1921 Missouri 2*4 in NGC MS65, which upgrades a MS62 example I'd owned for 9 years. I thought the toning on this one is quite attractive.

The other two are minor upgrades, 1949-D and 1951 BTW commemoratives both in NGC MS67, and both upgrading my current MS66 examples. Though only one point upgrades, the eye appeal on both of these is better than my current examples. NGC pop of the '49-D is 54 in MS67 with none higher, and the '51 is 28 in MS67 with only 1 higher. The '51 shows a bit of tab toning on the reverse.
