Picked up a lot of 60 2024 Silver 1 oz Krugerrands. These ten were loose, and the rest were in 2 tubes.

I am making a formal spreadsheet of My Collections.

I love doing spreadsheets (It's a medical condition.....), but I use Numista as I can then download all my entries to an Excel spreadsheet. I have found it the easiest way for my purposes, and pretty flexible.

I'm a genealogist and my family's historian with thousands of scans of original family photos, letters and documents going back to 1839 and prior in a few cases.

I referred to the national archive and their recommended standards. Somewhere they have recommended file formats, resolutions, etc. for documents and photos as well. Their intent is for preservation over long periods to avoid any inpacts due changing digital systems in the future. Excellent resource and advice.

Thanks, GLB and Hokiefan!

that's a fun lot of coins, Dearborn. Have fun with it.

Love the commemoratives Hokiefan. The toning is a nice addition on the two.

#4 in the Canadian W Mint Mark Tribute series. The previous being the polar bear toonie, the loonie, and the coat of arms 50 cent piece. Now getting down to the Caribou who looks like he is caught in the head lights.
Silver 1 oz "Tailored specimen" finish.

Next up is my favorite, the Bluenose ten cent piece. Can't wait for that one!

What struck me was I thought the quality control is a lot better now. Mine are clean with no lint or fibers and placed properly and tightly in the OGP. Very nice coins and presentation.

You read my mind as my Peace dollars arrived today and I had the same observations.

Good luck with your new endeavor - post results if you can.

I just purchased the 2017 P George Rogers Clark coin, so will get that in a week or so. There are total 56 ATB 5 oz coins, I believe, and they come in two flavors - the uncirculated (no mint mark) bullion strike and the matte finish (burnished) collectors version with the P mint mark. I am a fan of the matte finish, so that will be my pursuit. It's going to be a long term collecting pursuit for me, otherwise I'll have no budget for other stuff. Going to take up storage space, but, oh boy, are they fun to hold!

My order for Peace dollars are due to arrive Monday, and the Morgans probably Wednesday. It was sad to cut the quantity down after the price increase, but I am still addicted to them.

I have looked at these coins for a long time and finally dove in and acquired one. 2013 Fort McHenry, America the Beautiful Quarter - 5 oz silver in an uncirculated matte finish. The coin is 76.2 mm in diameter. Now I am committed to seek the entire series.....
