Wow, thanks a lot! That was lightning fast!
Also happy to learn that it's a coin, not a kind of temple token or contemopary souvenir.

Could you please provide more info - it's a catalogue number, right?
What's the name of the catalogue?

BTW thanks to admin for moving it into proper forum

Got it! Thanks a lot!

Found it on numista already but thanks for going extra mile for me!

Will try to check with Hartill book but what makes me concern a bit is the weight.
Numista says it should be way more heavier, like 7.5 gr. The coind doesn't look circulated enough to loose almost 10% of it's weight - poorly looking and corroded for sure but not so circulated.

Numista can show info about the coins that is not correct or exact in many cases.
Especially with old Chinese cast coins.
They were not so uniform or identical at all.
Differences in diameters, thickness, composition and weight can be found in many reference books as well as online.
I doubt if I have any coin like these that match any published data.
I'd have no concern about the difference.

Thanks again, Albert!
So at the end of the day I've got my very first Chinese coin to keep.
Apparently it doesn't worth a fortune but anyway a nice piece of history and example of totally different approach to coin making so will add it to my collection.

Thanks everyone - appreciate sharing your knowledge!
