Finally arrived. With so many focal points, it's difficult to get good, clear, all around images. Shadow images are from capsule reflections. Minus the lint, this commemorative looks really nice IMO and, a very worthy cause. Thank you veterans!   |

Other than the colorized dollar almost no slabbed uncirculated or proof dollars are being sold on ebay. Not sure why. |

The silver proof is no longer listed as backordered if you go to buy it, but it's still listed as backordered in my order status.
I'm starting to wonder if I will EVER see this coin!

My colourized proof Purple Heart dollar coin arrived via my family in Florida and a fellow CCF member sourced me the standard proof Purple Heart dollar coin and the proof Purple Heart half dollar coin.
So I am a happy camper across the pond.

I missed out on the colorized version when it debuted. Late last year the prices on the secondary market were high.
Was browsing this commem on the bay this afternoon and they're available in OGP for $119, shipping included.
I suppose I could have waited to see if the price drops further. . .couldn't resist. Look forward to adding it to my commems collection
