Is Numismedia A Good Place To Find Out Fair Market Value For US Coins?

Many times the price guides disagree by a significant margin.

Today I priced a coin.

Numismedia = $880
PCGS = $1175
NGC = $900
CDN Retail = $1000

That would make an average retail price = $988.75

It hasn't worked for me in a couple days.

With the price increase I doubt they sell out.

I too was charged for the Peace yesterday but not the Morgan.

So basically the buyer was due about $1000 refund. Assuming he's keeping the dime.

There are timing irregularities with GCs but I don't see why this isn't mostly on PCGS.

The seller says he doesn't know who currently has the dime.
