would like the communities opinion....pretty positive I got this from a Cheerios box promotion. However, I cannot confirm that the tail feathers are detailed and bold as versus the non- promotion coin that year. Can anyone help me on this per the attached photos. Considerable worth $$ in the balance. Want to be absolutely sure before thinking of whether I have a solid value here or not.

Doesn't look it. Pics are really blurry tho.
IIRC not all Cheerios box dollars are the Cheerios variety. So, it's possible that you did get this from a Cheerios box and it is still not the valuable one.

Too blurry for me to tell, but just follow this link and you can see the difference.

In hand, it should be pretty easy to tell if it is the regular variety or the special Cheerios coin.

It doesn't look like the valuable type, but I can't be 100% without clearer pics.

Sorry, you need much clearer pictures than this to determine it.

Thank you CaptainCoffee!! the web site reference cleared it up. It is NOT a Cheerios box dollar coin. This is why I love this forum. People with knowledge are so kind to send information back that is greatly helpful!
