i snagged three 2020-W burnished silver eagles (ogp, box & coa) this past week and added one more 2019-W (ogp, box & coa) to the pile. added one of the '20-Ws to my dansco album (of burnished ASEs).

plus, I grabbed 5 old Lincoln wheaties needed for the folder ('11-S, '12-S, '13, '13-D, '24-D) and upgraded two (the '35 & '47) nastier coins with BU coins. just three to go & the folder will be full and that will officially conclude phase 1. phase 2 already underway, but not officially until the folder is full. I'm going to split the coins into two camps: the avg circulated coins VF-G will remain in the folder while XF and higher will go into a new album. the nicer condition coins (BU/AU/XF) that I remove from the folder will get replaced with coins in the VF-G range, so i'll have a lower grade set & a higher grade set, will work on both in the coming months.

Those are some very BIG upgrades!! I love the album so far.

Here's a bit of Arab silver that came in yesterday.

i wasn't planning on doing any upgrades until I completely filled the folder, but I needed something else to get my order over the minimum, so I opted for a couple upgrades, those two coins were the worst specimens in the folder (35 & 47) so I upgraded to BU just to get a small taste of the BU red look. they (and the BU steel cents) really stand out amongst the average circulated coins.

This one came in today, old cleaning most likely, but it retoned nicely and it's got decent appeal for the grade.

1826 Capped Bust half dollar
I haven't attributed the Overton variety yet, but I will.

1908 Barber half dollar
Another Dansco hole filled
Nice original VG+ coin, no problems.

The price of silver is bringing in some nice coins from people selling off old collections, etc.
