The HH story all started with channel 7, They did a story about coins in your change that may be special and it got a lot of clicks so they have been flogging a dead horse. Most of the research for these stories seems to be TikTok videos of people who don't seem to know what they are talking about and don't even have examples of these coins and just use images they find online. Strangely enough they inital story they ran that featured the HH coins did mention towards the end of the story they were a common coin. I believe this is why coloured $2 coins are pretty thin on the ground these days as they are pocketed for there insane values lol. https://7news.com.au/lifestyle/wort...ch-c-2026077https://7news.com.au/the-morning-sh...s--c-1324244*** Edited by Staff - Removed Facebook link, there's some inappropriate stuff on that page. ***

Would probably say the least educated. But hey, either way, you get paid to have kids in Australia. It probably encouraged welfare dependent people to have children (who then spent the baby bonus on drugs, flat screen TVs etc) and made no difference to the others.

Same thing here, beneficiaries live high on the hog.
Fortunately I have yet to see much of a movement into coin collecting from these people. Government gives them $95 more per child, some of our beneficiaries are getting $1600 a week, plus a free house.
Think of all the overpriced 1988 $2 Aussie coins they could buy! If they could funnel all their free money into coin collecting, we would have a huge bubble of coins again!

I think you're partner needs a pay rise. My son is a graduate accountant and earns about AUD$1150 a week or about NZ$1200.

I think he need's a payrise too, but his company is barely solvent and he desparately wants to leave, plus he has been in the office once in 3 months with lockdown and his heart failure.
Meanwhile are people still forking out for 1988 $2 coins, because they think are rare because of the HH on them?

I tried to convince a lady at work the other day that her 1988 $2 coin with HH on it was only worth $2. She wouldn't believe me. "I saw it on the news that it's worth over $100"
