Even if it is silver it is apparently under weight. Not everyone is honest

Kotsr, counterfeit bullion products are a real problem. When presented with an unknown-style silver round I don't assume it's necessarily genuine. It appears someone donated this piece to our coin club. We will likely offer it as a raffle prize at our monthly meeting but I first need to be confident it's not a fake. Due diligence, right?

The coin club may want to invest in or maybe a member has access to a Sigma analyzer

I have 8 of those. Two each Bison, Deer,
Horses, Eagle. All have the same obverse
Historic Colorado mining. The reverse are all different
And all say American wildlife series.

Yea, but XRF analyzers are at least $12,000 on ebay for a used one.... hard investment, I guess if everyone pools their money, then the coin club could share it.

What does that matter that fakes are made every second of everyday? Fakes are very simple to identify

Maybe for you, not for everyone. So is this the way it will continue, try to make the OP feel bad if you know the answer and they don't? There's definitely a trend in your posting.

I just removed you're post that said "Google is your friend" in response to a question that you knew he answer to. Very condescending.

I remember when I thought being condescending was a good personality trait, then I turned 14.

No need to act all superior, especially if you aren't gonna add anything helpful to the thread.

Some people feel compelled to demonstrate how smart they are by talking down to others. Needless to say, the ones with the actual intellect never behave this way because people soon learn the truth for themselves. For example, have you ever heard a beautiful woman brag about how attractive she is? Of course not. Once you see her you know. Bragging is completely unnecessary.
