As you know, the 1859-S is an extremely tough date to find in any decent condition. My example is VF, no re-engraving, but has some light corrosion in some areas. VF slabbed examples are going for $1500+. Thus, I'm looking for around a $600-$625 trade value, which I think is more than fair given how rare this coin is and how it still has a good look. I have done a lot of good business on here, high value transactions, etc... can get references if you would like.
20 nicer dollars (at least AU++ with good eye appeal or lower BU, some somewhat better dates, etc)
or
30 bullion dollars, culls, problem coins, lower grade, etc.
or
24 nice silver eagles, common dates
...or any other deal you can figure out
Pics coming tomorrow. Post here if interested.
