1987 D Lincoln Cent With Scratch Marks On The E, Of On The Reverse

Gregsn58 New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 02/10/2025 4:04 pm I have a 1987D Lincoln sent read with strange scratch marks on the S of the word states and the word of on the reverse. I have several pennies with the same error. Can anybody tell me about it? Also, is that going to lower the quality of the penny? Report this Post to the Staff

Please check your camera settings are set to Medium quality. If it uses compression use 70%, it's perfectly fine for the internet. For file type please use WEBP if your phone has it, otherwise JPG. Avoid PNG and GIF, they are horrible choices. Be sure to crop the image to only show the coin. This is a great setup for cell phones.
