Sellers pics, was thinking about making an offer. CCF, what are your thoughts on this one?

1811?

Hair looks a little weak but looks like a strong XF40.

Super attractive 1811. I agree with NS that it's a nice XF40. The color and surfaces are very attractive.

Title corrected. Was looking at an 1819 with similar appearance.

As usual, thanks for the feedback!

VF-35. Perfect VF look. Doesn't quite have the crispness of an XF coin. Hope you got it for a good price, it was relisted twice.

I did end up purchasing this last Saturday, but I resorted to using the wife's math. First, I returned the not so hot 1817/3, then I'll sell my AG 1811, maybe, and I went grocery shopping Saturday afternoon so wife wouldn't want to order expensive takeout (Wendy's) for dinner Sat or Sunday. So technically, I'm being paid to take possession of it,

Price was a little under $300 delivered, mediocre but acceptable IMO given what I thought was excellent eye appeal for the upper ~VF+ condition.

While I have return privilege, hopefully there won't be any surprises or need for that. I'll post up pics when it arrives, Seller wasn't responding all week but it finally shipped yesterday..

I love the sick logic of coin collectors ... coins - shopping - savings - coin purchase ... cost vs. value "justification" :)))

The coin finally arrived just before Xmas. In hand the coin looks exactly like the seller pictures in my first post, very attractive. The pics below are with a little more direct light. I'm glad I picked it up.
