Congrats to Herbaby and the runners up. I got this at our local club and was afraid I might have overpaid, but seeing your guesses put my mind at ease. At the time I won it I didn't have a loupe and could tell it had been cleaned but the hairline scratches were much more evident once I took the images. This coin weighs19.8 g which is .2 grams light. Here's a link to Numista about the coins in general. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces4634.htmlI had heard that millions of Philipine coins being dropped into the ocean in 1942 to keep them out of the hands of the conquering Japanese forces. I didn't realize they were mostly dated 1907-1912 until just now when I looked up the link. (I love learning new stuff.) I don't think this is one of the salvaged coins since it doesn't appear to have pitting from being immersed in saltwater, even though it is slightly under weight. Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
