Thanks a million for posting that website. Kudos to whomever compiled that information!
I've just looked at it briefly but I'll be attacking that pile of coins I thought I'd never be able to date very soon.
The wealth of knowledge shared by this community is incredible!

FWIW the Numista link provided by Hondo Boguss is the wrong type that's a commemorative.
The correct link is this: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces3327.html

The date is #1492;#1514;#1513;#1506;"#1494; = 5777 AM = 2017 (you can't read the Hebrew here because the forum software is hilariously out of date).

I got the date as 2014 (the first character is so blurry it could either be a 4 or a 7) I think it is a 4

5000+400+300+70+4= 5774
5774-3760-2014 as the date.

https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces3327.html

Can you post up the obverse please? it will be very helpful, also your image is VERY blurry on the date on your coin, please post it again

or at least the area I circled (which is the date on this coin)

Hi Everyone! Thank you guys for recommending and using my coin date converter :)

Speaking about the coin posted above -- I believe there's not 4, but 7 (tall "stem" & short oblique "hat"). Therefore, it seems to be 2017 A.D., i.e. rather recent one.

to CCF!

I agree, the narrow symmetric T shape is a 7 (second option under 7 in the converter), so this is a 2017 coin. I can try to search for 2014 and 2017 examples of this type in my change to post for comparison; the 4 is a lot wider on the left.

2017 is the last year of this type; the lettering was changed in 2022 (from "New Sheqalim" to "New Shekels") after a several-year hiatus.
