Here is a sample. I also have a George Washington medal that is clearly from the same series. They're larger than a quarter but smaller than a half dollar.



Does anyone know anything about these medals--when they were made, by whom, etc.?

Yours is missing the end-date (which may put the release date during his term) but it resembles this example from the Reader's Digest series: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/ex...a120718.html

If you only have one or two examples from a larger set, then I'm guessing something like this is just worth bullion value.

Alpha, we have a winner! It's definitely from the Reader's Digest series. And yes, my RMN medal/coin definitely was made before 1974.

Coinfrog, it's made out of brass. Is that considered bullion?

I do not believe the is a consensus as to whether copper, bronze, or brass are bullion. Copper, maybe. Brass and Bronze, probably not as they are impure copper alloys.
