I will post the answers throughout this morning. 2- Name the author of a book only about Mexican numismatic medals. The answer I was thinking of was: Frank W. Grove. I forgot about another book only about Mexican numismatic medals (and I own a copy!) Dr. Luis M. Gómez Wulschner So either answer is accepted.

At this point we have two contestants that got questions 1-6 correct. 7- How many Mexican medals have I (nss-52) personally posted images of on this LINK? No one got the answer I got. 127. A few places you may have gone wrong: There a number of medals that I did not post. If you counted any of those, you would get the wrong answer. Page 1 Santo Nino de Atocha - This is the "same" medal type, but it is two different medals. Page 7: There are two times I posted a genuine medal next to a counterfeit medal. Each time you should have counted 1 for the genuine medal, and 1 more for the counterfeit medal. There is also a counterfeit COIN that the seller called a "medal". But it is not a medal, it's a counterfeit coin. So neither should have been counted.
Both of the contestants that got questions 1-6 correct gave me the exact same number for this question. Thus, a recount is not really necessary. So, it goes to the tie breaker.... *drum roll*

Not that it matters, but I just counted again, and this time I got 128... and I counted three times before sending my answers! Was a fun and challenging contest!

Congratulations, Zurie! And thank you for this educational contest, nss-52 - I definitely expanded my knowledge of and appreciation for the medals of Mexico.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures
