2021 Silver Eagle Proofs - Coin Community Forum

shug23 Valued Member United States 78 Posts	Posted 05/12/2022 08:31 am I am confused what silver eagles were issued in 2021...For the proof coins, is there a Type 1 which carries a W mint mark and a Type 2 that carries the S mint mark ( or do I have these backwards). The coins came in uncirculated (bullion), burnished (basically bullion with a mint mark), proof and reverse proof. eaglebub7 Valued Member United States 378 Posts	Posted 05/21/2022 12:07 am Quote: is there a Type 1 which carries a W mint mark and a Type 2 that carries the S mint mark There are 5 "proofs" in total that I have, they are 2021 proof(s) that carry "S" MM Enhanced reverse proof Type 2 Proof Type 2 2021 proof(s) that carry "W" MM Enhanced reverse proof Type 1 Proof Type 1 Proof Type 2 Possibly what aids the confusion is, PCGS doesn't list the 2021 "W" T1 (PCGS is just plain easier reference source, in general) enhanced reverse proof but list the "SP", who knows honestly. This excludes any "SP" bullion coins as designated "SP" by PCGS, that are really "MS" uncirculated bullion with a MM.
