Hey hey diggers! and collectors!
This is my favourite time of year for detecting, with no long grass or other plant material to slow your progress on the surface and lots of land to detect after the long winter sleep.
I got out on three occasions and made some decent finds along the way. Hit some old favourite sites and also discovered a couple new ones. Even though the sites were new the finds were the typical finds we get on those older homesites that are about two hundred years old now.
Although they are the run of the mill type , the variety I got was pretty neat. I love finding tokens and when I do its always nice to get a bit of condition but it's also nice to see something different in the mix.
Lots of variety to share ..so heres the big list from the past hunts..ten finds that made my week!
Top row...LC13A...PE7Cx...PE5B1...PE8A1
Second row...PE10xx...Ireland 1820 penny...NS10A
Bottom row...LC51A1...NB4...LC46Ax
Lots of coppers this week....I'm hoping to see some silver sometime soon to keep that mix fresh.
Lots of land to check out before many of the crops are planted so I'm hoping I can get in a harvest before that happens! See you all again soon!
