Quote: You guys are "ruff-ruff" By the way,I am a dog person. Very allergic to cats. I guess as long as the prize isn't a cat and a gold bar we can let John play along

Congrats on the up coming milestone chafemasterj, look forward to the contest(if I qualify) lol what's considered a young numismatic:0 what if there is some beginning numismatics that are in there 80-90s lol. Also does young at heart count:) I just turned 30:p, I would be happy with a golden puppy. Much less attention needed, I imagine it would be very hard to walk it

Congrats for nearing 5000 posts! When I recently did a contest for YNs, I made it for ages under 21, and I got limited participation. I would suggest perhaps extending it to age 35 or collecting for less than 5 years to get wider participation. Of course, still based on the honor system.

How about a two tier contest? YNs (young numismatists) and OFs (old farts) John1

An early congrats on the hopefully soon to be up coming milestone!
Prize? Get a counterstamp made. Offer your own counterstamped cents. But the winner here gets a dollar coin counterstamped!

You could counter stamp the puppy, but I think there might be some animal rights issues there.

I think the fair compromise is a gold puppy with a counterstampef collar!
