Hello dear Members! Any idea if this ring might have any value apart from the silver content? Do those engravings mean anything? Also, how would one know if they found anything valuable? ( rings, bracelets, etc) Thank you!

How do you know it's silver?

Very cool find! I would like to know more about its history... Though would have to say it is probably silver plate at best... To much corrosion and pitting for high grade silver.
Rest in Peace

Think it would be possible to get those letters/symbols in a flat form to see what they actually look like?

The letters on the ring, but very hard to identify.
Apologies, I have been on holiday.
